As the summer gets underway, the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival blooms into life, transforming the regal grounds into a floricultural wonderland. Starting today, until July 9, green-thumbed enthusiasts and nature lovers can join a celebration that"s as enchanting as it is enlightening. Emerging from the seed of an idea by consultant Adrian Boyd, the event first unfurled its petals to the public in 1990, captivating crowds with a parade of porters wearing carnation-adorned hats. Over the years, the festival has rooted itself deeply in the hearts of garden lovers. Covering a sprawling 31 acres (12 hectares), it draws in a crowd of 130,000 nature enthusiasts each year. The festival thrives on its relaxed atmosphere, where visitors can savour the sights of Show Gardens and Roses, accompanied by the clink of Champagne glasses and the sweet notes of live music. So, are you ready for a blooming good time?
