The Verdon Gorge, known as Gorges du Verdon in French, is an approximately 25 kilometres long river canyon nestled in the heart of Provence in France. The impressive limestone cliffs, carved by the river Verdon—which flows into the Lake of Sainte-Croix—create a breathtaking spectacle.
