The demoiselle crane is a small yet striking migratory bird found across Central Asia, from their breeding grounds in the steppes of Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and northern China, to their wintering grounds in India, Nepal, and parts of Africa. With its elegant appearance—slender neck, long legs, and beautiful plumage—it is often considered one of the most graceful crane species.
